Eleanor Shaw Milleville (1922–1991) of O’Hara Township puts the finishing touches on a miniature replica of her “Heather” statue (in background) in this September 7, 1983 Herald photo. The life-size bronze version of this statue was made for Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital. “Heather” was modeled after the artist’s daughter who died at a young age.
